Captured with a little romantism in this art print of this beautiful East London park for your wall.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI wanted to capture the pagoda, lake and pavilion in this piece so had to pick just the right angle from the bridge (and a little readjustment of some bushes 🙂). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlong with the pagoda, the Pavilion Café can be seen across the lake and I added a few of the parks birds too; Canada Geese, an Egyptian Goose, duck and few sparrows.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVictoria park in the borough of Tower of Hamlets is the oldest public park in London, opened in 1845. The Chinese pagoda sits on an island on west boating lake. The original Pagoda was moved to Victoria park from Hyde Park in 1842 but was demolished in the 1950's. Autumn seemed the perfect time of year to paint for a sunrise, so all the seasons' warm colours of the trees can work against the cool morning sky and the crisp greens of the park's grass. The challenge of this piece was to harmonise the grass, trees and clouds with the strong colours you find in a sunrise without them becoming overpowering. I mixed into each part of the picture a little of the blues, reds and yellows to spread the colours. My aim was to capture the majesty of a glorious sunrise while keeping a relaxing overall image. Autumn seemed the perfect time of year to paint for a sunrise, so all the seasons' warm colours of the trees can work against the cool morning sky and the crisp greens of the park's grass. The challenge of this piece was to harmonise the grass, trees and clouds with the strong colours you find in a sunrise without them becoming overpowering. I mixed into each part of the picture a little of the blues, reds and yellows to spread the colours. My aim was to capture the majesty of a glorious sunrise while keeping a relaxing overall image.
