It's a beautiful Victorian terracotta building covered in details, when you get up close you notice it's peppered with natural sculpture with hundreds of animals and dinosaurs represented on its facade. I couldn't show all the details on this painting but I've included Dippy (the museums famous Diplodocus skeleton) in the garden, looking over the trees 🙂 Maybe he's spotted the London bus.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Natural History Museum opened in \u003cspan\u003e18 April 1881, to look after and make public the natural history specimens in the British museum, which was running out of space for its growing collection.
