A print of my Battersea Power Station London illustration. A colourful print of this iconic London landmark from the borough of Wandsworth, the perfect gift, souvenir or memento for Londoners.

There are few buildings in London that have the architectural weight of Battersea Power Station, it looks so grounded and heavy, there is nothing quite like it in the city (perhaps the closest being the Tate Modern, another former power station which I've illustrated). Despite or maybe because of its blocky Art Deco design, it was a fun structure to illustrate, allowing me to focus on the colours and proportions. I kept the trees as simple shapes so as not to distract from the station and using greens and purples gave great accents to enhance the red bricks.

The coal-fire power station was decommissioned in the 70's and then finally redeveloped to become a shopping centre opening in 2022.
