A print of my illustration of the world famous Liberty London Store. This Tudor style building stretches along Great Marlborough Street in the West End of London and has a long heritage for Luxuries and fabrics.
The exterior of Liberty's is one of the most enticing shop facades in central London, with large wooden beams, pitched roofs, and beautiful flowers on display, how can you not step inside (how could I resist painting it! 🙂) With the large hanging crests and the two thick stone towers either side of the entrance, it feels like you are stepping back in time to a luxury castle.
I wanted some extra colour in the painting instead of just black beams so went for a purple, after all it is the colour of royals and luxury. I then added a couple of dog walkers for extra charm and the car gliding past is a Jaguar E-type, the epitome of British motoring style, they really don't make them like they used to!

Printed on white cotton 300gsm acid-free archival museum quality paper with a matte finish. This paper gives the best possible print quality. I sign these in pencil.
