A print of my illustration of the view from the top of Parliament Hill on Hampstead Heath. From the top you get an amazing view London's skyline. Legend says Guy Fawkes planned to watch the destruction of parliament from this spot.
If you have been to the top of Parliament hill you will probably remember more mud, and people! I think when I went to sketch this it was a grey autumn day (very muddy) and so I took some liberty with the painting, a bit more sun, healthy grass and just a few sparrows enjoying the view 🙂
