If you've ever been to Borough Market you will know its a squeeze to get into but has some of the best food in London. I painted this based on a sketch I made of the market in 2018, looking north east from Park St. I added the lady and her dog and people chatting and eating the delicious food to add some life as the market is such a social place. Here's to enjoying tasty treats, not worrying about the calories and catching up with friends at the same time!
Borough Market is London's oldest food market, with stalls on the site (or close by) for over 1000 years. It marked its millennial celebration in 2014.
