A print of a my 'Notting Hill Blue Door Cat' painting. Featuring the famous blue door from the movie Notting Hill and a resident cat being carefully observed by some locals.

This is a sequel painting to my Notting Hill Cat which features the same cat and possibly the same birds too. Here I imagine the cat is either visiting or lives behind the door, I wonder where Hugh is?

Every painting comes with its own challenge, this one was how to include all the birds and bikes in the foreground while keeping the focus on the cat. Painting the bikes and birds in warm shadows using similar colours and values helps the lighter, brighter cat and the blue door draw your attention first. The warm colours also give a calm summer feeling too.

Prints are sealed in a biodegradable cello bag made from 100% PLA and packed with stiff backing boards to make sure it arrives in perfect condition 🥳

Fine Art Paper

Printed on white cotton 300gsm acid-free archival museum quality paper with a matte finish. This paper gives the best possible print quality. I sign these in pencil.

A4 - 21cm x 29.7cm / 8.27 x 11.7in

A3 - 29.7cm x 42cm / 11.7 x 16.5in

All prints come in a cello bag between protective boards
I sign all Fine Art Paper prints in pencil (Matte Paper prints have a printed signature)

If you have not received a UK order within 10 working or non-UK with 15 days after ordering, please get in touch so I can look into this as quickly as possible.

For non-UK orders, buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Mike Green Illustration is not responsible for delays due to customs. All non-UK orders are posted with tracking.

Do you offer returns or refunds?

Yes, please see my Refund policy details.

Do you ship to my country?

Currently I can ship to the UK and the USA, if you want delivery to another country please see my Etsy store.

Do you sell in shops?

Yes! I am stocked in a few London stores. Please see my About or Wholesale pages for a list of my current stockists.

Do you sell digital downloads?

I only sell my artwork on physical products. If you need something to arrive quickly there is an express shipping option for UK deliveries.

I never use AI for my work

All my artwork is hand-drawn by myself and all writing is by me, I never use AI for any creative process, for me it would completely defeat the purpose and result.
