A card with my painting of Primrose Hill Books in London.

This beautiful independent bookshop is on Regent's Park Road, just north of Primrose Hill park in the London borough of Camden. Its a much loved local store and has a name that must make other bookshops jealous 🙂

I painted this with a bit of some summer sun. The area of Primrose Hill is a great spot to visit and stroll in the nearby park and sample the local coffee and cake shops too! If you do make it to this part of London, be sure to walk right to the top of Primrose Hill for a great view of the city!

I added a few pigeons, some sparrows and a sleeping cat. The lady leaving the Primrose Hill Bookshop has just bought a book that's so good she has already started reading it on her way out. One of life's great pleasures, a book you can't put down!
