A print of my painting of London's Trafalgar Square, just before sunset.
One of London's most iconic locations, Trafalgar Square commemorates the British victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in the Napoleonic wars. The square takes on a different feeling at dusk so I used evening colours for this one. I love the blue, purple and orange tones you can get in cities just before night-time. The square used to be full of pigeons but now with no feeding signs up so there are a far fewer. I added some anyway, after all what is London without pigeons! 🙂
