I'm Mike, an artist based in London creating uplifting and joyful location based artwork.
I believe our environment can be a catalyst for a positive state of mind, with art that reminds us of beautiful times and places special to us. I love to capture locations with a storybook feel and a splash of romantism to give people something magical to treasure!

Storybook realism
I always sought charming artwork growing up, from comics, animated tv shows and classic Disney films. Absorbing and learning from these influenced the way I represent my surroundings which has developed into a realistic and romanticised style. There are grey days but they can still be beautiful!

Rich details
I love to add unique character to my paintings, including wildlife, people or a buildings unique features and details. These all help to improve the texture of a scene and turn them into something unique.

Calming, relaxing artwork
All artwork projects a mood, affecting us and the space we share with it. I want my paintings to relax, sooth and help us create calm and positive environments. I achieve this using pastel tones, my friendly style of line work and positive character and details.
